About

Who are we?

Internews empowers people worldwide with the trustworthy, high-quality news and information they need to make informed decisions, participate in their communities, and hold power to account.

With funding from the H2H Network, Internews is responding to the spread of COVID-19 by combatting the spread of rumours and misinformation. This project aims to support busy newsrooms with the resources and content they need to responsibly address misinformation in this crisis.

This project is in partnership with BBC Media Action, Translators without Borders and Evidence Aid. With valuable support from Standby Task Force and Anthrologica.

We can:

  • Help you respond to misinformation with verified information from sources you can trust
  • Translate quality COVID-19 resources into local languages
  • Create engaging content to respond to community information gaps

If you have any questions, requests for resources, feedback or would like to let us know when our tools have been useful, you can email us at any time at .
